![]() ![]() Buy every bottle of beer or wine like an addict. Earlier you can make armour piercing grenades out of greenish bottles crushed with hammer, they give very good value. At Crafting level 5, you can make very expensive items out of cloth scraps (enchanted robes), leather scraps (leather armour, you need magic needle for both but it lasts forever), eyes (PER potion), fanny blossom (SPD potion), farhangite (CON potion), logs (need to use 1H axe on logs, elemental staves with AP bonus are most expensive), blanks scrolls (blank skillbooks, then turn into actual elemental and witchcraft spellbooks). Potions, most armour, most of staves, most of books, 1H axes with Action Point bonus, I sell. Also arrows, but they all can be made without investing a point in Crafting. To make stuff, it is good, but only thing I actually use are one handed axes, staves (mostly for INT bonus and elemental ranged damage), skill books and sometimes armour or bows. Sightly annoying that one stack of gold maxes out at 99999. It required patience, because shops reset about every real time hour, but I can buy anything. At level 8, still in Cyseal, I have over 200000 gold. To make money, it is wonderful, along with Blacksmith, but they both should be at level 5 to shine (possible when you reach character level 6). Some guides say it is better to have it on a henchman, and only use when necessary, but I always want it to use when buying from shopkeepers, as fast as possible (so I give them stuff instead of money). ![]() I use crafting on one of Source Hunters, and Blacksmithing on Jahan. Blacksmith requires 2 points to max out (and doesn't have Pragmatic equivalent, so best is used on NPC, like Jahan or Bairdotr). ![]() Originally posted by General Bacca:as the title says One point in Crafting is enough, assuming you also got Scientist, gear (belt and bracers, belts only show up at character level 5 and later) and Pragmatic trait. ![]()
